Prizes and judging
Prizes
There are fabulous prizes to be won for your school, including:
- Computers
- Digital cameras
- Software.
How entries will be judged
Entries will be judged on how well students have incorporated the 3Rs into their school, and how well they have documented their activities and
achievements on their web site. Emphasis will NOT be placed on web site technology for its own sake. The web site is considered only as a means of presenting information so that it can be shared internationally via
the Internet.
A panel of Judges will be created from the supporting organisations of the UK Ollie Recycles Program.
10 finalists will be chosen and these entries will all be showcased in the Gallery section of the Ollie Recycles web site. 10 digital cameras will
be given to the finalist entries for their school. A total of 100 of the latest Ollie software will be given to the winning schools for presentation to their most helpful individual participants of the winning
team.
2 major prizes will be awarded from the 10 finalists –
these 2 Winners will receive a lap top computer for their school and 1 copy of the latest Ollie CD ROM for each classroom group in the school.
Closing date
The closing date for entries to be received at www.ollierecycles.com is 22 June 2002. Winners will be announced on the Ollie Recycles UK web site on the 5 July 2002.
